How would you make L.A.'s neighborhoods more livable?
- Create more housing opportunities and choices for all the different
kinds of people, families and incomes.
- Reinvest in and strengthen existing communities and achieve more
balanced regional development.
- Preserve open space, farmland, natural beauty, historic buildings,
and critical environmental areas, and create more urban parks.
- Support more transportation choices including rail, bus, bicycling
& walking.
- All of the above.
If your answer is "e. All of the above," then you might want
to become part of the Livable Places Action Team. As an LP Action Team
member you will receive information and action alerts on local policy
measures aimed at making the L.A. region more livable.
We have many examples from across the state and the country of how to
make our communities more livable while building homes for people. Be
a part of making these ideas reality in the Los Angeles region.
