The Alliance For A Livable Los Angeles

The Alliance for a Livable Los Angeles is a diverse group of organizations whose work focuses on affordable housing, environmental justice, public health, community organizing, transportation planning and equity, economic and community development, and land use planning. The mission of the Alliance is to help make the City of Los Angeles a better place to live for everyone by creating homes people can afford, transportation options, neighborhood parks, and public places.  The Alliance uses several strategies to achieve its mission including candidate forums during election times, bringing the "Making Los Angeles More Livable" presentation to community groups, and organizing the Y.I.M.B.Y (Yes-In-My-Back-Yard) Brigade.
